RB James Wilder - workhorse, pro bowler during the Bucs' rotten years.  One of the few brightspots during those days.

I should have stated that it should be a player drafted in the 80's.

None.

Worst decade ever!

Off topic: we like to think of the time when Brooks, Lynch, Sapp all played together as an "Era", but really... the Bucs were ONLY GOOD for 6 years....max! (1997-2002) More like 4 years. But it seemed like 10-12 years...

Speaking of James Wilder. Isn't Jr. draft eligible in 2014? That's who I'd like the Bucs to target next yr in the 3rd. He and Martin would be a sick duo!

In that case, Bo Jackson.

it seems longer because at the end of 96 we were playing pretty well, and in 03 we didn't play that poorly for half the season

so for parts of 8 seasons straight we felt like we were watching a good team that could contend - even in downseasons like the 98 and 03 seasons, we weren't eliminated from playoff contention until very late

only in 04 did it really come crashing down

Wayne Haddix ....and that is everything to do with the player he was on Tecmo Bowl , and not on the real field.

*edit* ....actually just looking it up , he was 1990 ... but close enough !

Tough question for some since many posters here only became Buc fans in 2002-3.
