Crazy the top 3 QBs of 2009 draft are on this list. Shows you how big of a crap shoot it is. They can rank these guys every year and they will never know who will make it. Its easier in years like last year but those come a long every decade or so. The Ravens winning the SB has showed everybody you dont need a great QB to win it all but you do need a great team and your QB does need to be able to take care of the ball while making plays. Can Freeman be that guy?? I dont know but we will find out soon. Year 2 in the same offense and a healthy Oline. There are no excuses.

If Freeman only had a decent defense backing him up, that # would be 1/4 of what it is....

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Surprised by some of these stats...   Free has less rushing attempts than the other two?

Sanchez - 62 starts

All of freemans rushing happened in 2009 and 2010. He's a statue now, so its not surprising.

legit point that Freeman haters wont acknowledge. if we arent getting majorly behind, he doesnt throw as much and theres far fewer obvious passing situations for opposing defenses to take advantage of. qbs depend on good defenses to open up the playbook and stay balanced. very few teams can be successful without running the ball and having a bad defense. only the packers, patriots, and saints can compete with a weak defense and bad running game.

Stafford didn't have 192 rushing attempts for 902 yards. I think those stats are jacked up.

Yeah, having a terrible defense the last 2 years and falling behind very quickly, especially in 2011, certainly would put more pressure on a QB to push the ball down the field and make plays to keep up. No the two are 100% separate of each other.

Imagine what this forum would be saying if Freeman checked the ball down on 3rd and 12 down by 21 because nothing was open down field? We'd be hearing people screaming that he isn't even trying. LOLZ at people on this board. So fickle, like a woman.

This simple list lets me know that football is still a TEAM sport. Some of the freeman haters should take note.

The 49ers don't care who their QB is, they can stand with or without because they now have a solid group on both sides.

Give Jf a sanfran defense and he'll look better too. Or Baltimore for that matter. They are not elite QB's.

No freeman won't look better with those teams. He's going to look the same. They might get better results with freeman than we did because they are better teams. It won't make freeman any better.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
