Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Even if the rest of the game was mediocre. He wasn't terrible in Atlanta, and the NFL season is sixteen weeks. You are so focused on four games. Versus the rest of the body of work. How about the four games in which he was incredibly dominant? Why do you not take that into consideration?

And since you guys wanna sh1t on Freeman so bad, how do you think the season woulda faired if we had Danny O under center? Lets use our brains here kids.
Apparently starting slow, regressing as the season goes on, and playing horrible in the last 3rd of the season is ok, because he went on a 5 game tear mid season vs garbage teams. Who knew.
When has he done anything other than chuck up Jump Balls and pray his WRs make the play for him?
Quote from: JDouble on March 06, 2013, 08:47:18 PMApparently starting slow, regressing as the season goes on, and playing horrible in the last 3rd of the season is ok, because he went on a 5 game tear mid season vs garbage teams. Who knew.Outside of the obvious games where he struggled (@NO, STL), what other games did he play "horrible"? Philly? He put the team in a position to win the game late. Defense blew it. @ ATL? That was a victory. If ATL didnt want to win, they wouldve pulled their starters. @ DEN? Id say he was average considering that every QB gives up a pick-6 from time to time, especially against hot teams in their house. So I ask, outside of the two games that I identified, where did he play "horrible"? Better yet, what is your definition of "horrible"? Im assuming, based on your standards, that at least 25-27 of the 32 starting QBs in the league would be "horrible" in your eyes.
