Wouldn't want Jared Allen either then since Doug over powered him on the goal line and pushed him into the end zone for a TD.
You mean that same Jared Allen that whooped Penn's ass and sacked Free when he got upset? I'll take him. My point was Richard Seymour is not that good anymore.

So does this mean that we should cut Penn? ;)
Not at all.. Jared Allen is a baller but DP is the man.  ;)

Penn actually handled Allen the majority of that game , until he got his panties in a wad and went beserker on that one play.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

My point was, if you take every defender that Martin made look bad, off the list of guys you want.....the list will be short. After this season, that list will be even shorter. Might need to find a different criteria.

Did Seymour play when Dougie ran untouched thru the middle of that Raider def all game? If so then no I don't want him.
Seymour is garbage nowadays. We don't have Bruce Allen as GM anymore so the adage "one's man trash is another's treasure" will not apply. As we did get many productive years out of Hovan, Phillip Buchanon, and Ike Hillard.

Plus, its hard to convince a guy like Seymour to take a role here where he will probably be lucky to see the field as a 3rd DT.

Damn I cant wait to watch Doug play this year. Especially if our line stays healthy this year. Could he possibly surpass his numbers from last year??

LeQuan Lewis - DB - Free Agent

Bears waived CB LeQuan Lewis and LB Dom DeCicco.
Lewis bounced between the Bucs and Cowboys last season, appearing in eight games, before signing with the Bears in February. DeCicco played in 20 games with the Bears over the last two seasons, making 12 tackles.

Gabe Carimi - T - Bears

Bears OL Gabe Carimi was a no-show for the first day of OTAs on Monday.
OTAs are not mandatory, but there's usually 100 percent participation. Carimi hasn't been with the team since he participated in voluntary minicamp from April 16-18. The 2011 first-rounder is in real danger of not making the team, and he surely isn't being counted on to start games this season.

Wonder what his college position coach thinks of him now?

I haven't really watched Carimi since he was drafted, so for all I know he could be completely awful....but I really liked him coming out of college and so did the scouts...so if he is cut I sure hope we jump on him. We have one of the best O-line coaches in the league....and he just happened to coach Carimi in college!  ;D

Carimi has been awful for the Bears. I thought he was a good player coming out and Wisconsin usually puts out some good OL talent.

Freeney is going to visit the Chargers due to the OTA injury.

Go get Bridgewater.   Do what it takes.

Josh Cribbs - WR - Raiders

Raiders agreed to terms with WR/KR Josh Cribbs, formerly of the Browns.
Jets GM John Idzik said just yesterday that Cribbs' knee wasn't yet up to snuff coming off meniscus surgery, but the Raiders decided they couldn't wait to sign the return specialist. Going on 30, Cribbs has taken a number of thundering hits over the years, but remained one of the league's best return men last season. Cribbs should see little, if any, time on offense. He's surpassed 200 yards receiving only twice in his eight-year career.
