RT @MikeMcCartney7: Congrats to @THE_ROY_V (Roy Miller) for signing a 2 year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars

This has been said by many posters, but I am thoroughly confused as to what the plan is with the defensive line this year. Roy Miller played great last year.

How we supposed to improve our team if we have to use all our draft picks to just replace players we let walk. Gotta say I am getting REALLY confused with this years FA strategy.

Wish him luck. Always liked the guy even though he never really hit his potential.

I think if they do not trade away the 1st round pick, they will try for Star. Starting to sound like a good idea to me.

Didn't think he was great, but we have nothing at DT other than McCoy. No NT, no depth. I don't get why he wasn't resigned. He cost next to nothing and he could have been a good back up if we draft a NT. Too many holes to fill in the draft folks.

Draft Aaron Donald

From your lips to Gods ears, my friend.

I've been arguing this point all day.

Apparently Schiano is building his own team with his own gusy and doesn't like many of the old ones. Maybe it pays off in the long run....but I don't understand not signing anyone at all to a 1 or 2 year deal. Can't replace the entire roster in one year. We need some good band aids in the mean time.

Draft Aaron Donald

Isn't Gibson already the backup NT? We need a starter, not depth

Roy Miller is nothing special so I don't really care about losing him, but we need to bring in a DT or two.

Could you imagine if McCoy were to go down?

Unless they feel comfortable with Gibson as the starting NT, they may actually take a guy like Star or Richardson at #13. Im surprised Miller wasn't resigned. We have now created a hole that needs to be filled. Damn.

Hell, brees might not be as accurate as manziel.

What about re-signing the home-grown talent?

Guess the Bucs think there are better solutions in the draft. Definitely not many options in FA. By not signing Bennett and now Miller, I think it's safe to say theyre looking at the draft. Star might be the guy.

I think the Bucs may have some hopes for Richard Clebert. You don't need a Star to play NT in the system (pun intended), but you do need a veteran guy who has learned how to take on a double team because that's something you can't really practice.
