I modified my post... Miller could fit that bill, but I'm sure he aspires for more opportunity at numbers and $$ that comes with the numbers.

the point is noone sees adequate replacement at the moment. and he was good last year, good enough to let him go to jags. noone wants to go to jags if he doesn't have to!
this is different than with trueblood, he leaves teh hole in the depth chart too but noone cares and we all know we can get a replacement  there, but our DL that stopped the run so efectively is suddenly thin, very thin!

If this had happened last year there wouldn't have been five posts on a single thread. The Bucs were dead last in defense against the run. This year there are five pages of pissing and moaning over the loss of the same player. Get a grip. If Schiano really wanted to keep him he'd still be here. There's a plan to upgrade the starters and depth for the DL. We just don't know what it is yet. Chill out. Same thing at CB. Haste makes waste. It's more important to match value with cost. The best player is not always the best fit.

Having a good year will certainly change some opinions. He could have been had for a decent cost and at minimum, would have provided quality depth. That's what has some people unsettled. It's yet another position that has a hole, when Miller was a serviceable NT. There is no problem with that being stated.

Hell, brees might not be as accurate as manziel.

Nothing wrong with raising the question. Nothing right complaining about a situation before the solution is even presented. Bennett and Miller made a choice. They decided to accept other offers. They weren't cut. It was their decision to leave.

Miller is nothing special other than a run stuffer.

And if they had resigned him you would be spouting off about what a great run stuffer he was.  Dial it back dude.

I thought Miller was finally playing up to some of his potential.  At worst he was depth on the line.  So instead of getting what you want and keep him as a back up.  Now you need TWO?
