I haven't got into it very much this year for whatever reason.  The NCAA has there rules, where a guy only has to do one year of college ball. Then he is off to the NBA draft.  That makes it really hard to build a good college team. And ironically, I think it hurts the NBA just as much.  The NBA is very watered down now.  You have a lot of kids getting drafted on potential, where they would be better off getting another couple years honing there game at the college level.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Gators looking at a great chance at 3 Elite 8's in a row . Amazing job of keeping the team consistently good Billy D has done.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

FGCU is freakin' sick...those guys epitomize the NCAA tournament....wish there were more teams like them we could all rally around.  Can't wait for them to kick the Gators' a--

That FGCU head coach is getting job offers already from big time college programs.  Good for him, he has done a nice job.

But he's a self made millionaire. He doesn't need their money. Hopefully he'll stay in Fort Myers

Yeah, that's one of the most gruesome sports injuries i've seen. Up there with Joe Theisman's leg injury.

It's strange the way it broke though from his own weight. It makes me wonder if he had an existing fracture there.

Good news is he's expected to make a full recovery.

Media making this player a hero for some reason. Can't understand how he's getting so much attention when the "hero" label is more deserving elsewhere.

I haven't seen anyone call him a "hero". That tag is way overused in this society anyway.
