Sounds good to me.

How is adding the most dynamic, explosive, offensive player in this year's NFL draft a poor selection?  Not to mention he is from West Virginia University :)

He is so explosive it is just silly. Could you imagine this guy running a little jerk route against some poor LB? Jeez

If we get Revis and keep our first I would love this pick. We don't need a big name TE in this offense, and with Jackson and Williams on the outside and Austin in the slot, scary. Plus I think Schiano really values ST so he would help in that department. Ogeltree is more a depth/competition pickup IMO.

I wouldn't rule it out. A lot has to happen in free agency for me to feel good about that pick.

DO NOT WANT

we need defensive players in the worst way. we dont have aaron rodgers or drew brees so we cant expect to win by outscoring every team we meet. i dont want to be in the running for worst pass defense of all time 2 years in a row

This would be a luxury pick, we are not at the point where we can start making those...

I know people are cold to getting a slot WR this early, but a creative team can make huge use of a talent like this. Imagine our return game. And little whip routes and tunnel screens turning into field changers. I'm all about it.

Well maybe this is a good idea. Screw defense lets just try an outscore everyone lol. Seriously though, Austin is my favorite player in the draft, but Josh Freeman would never get the best out of him.

Harvin has played with far worse QBs than Freeman and he's done pretty well. Austin would be a stud here

I'm all aboard two bandwagons, Star Lotulelei and Tavon Austin.

Yea he's a stud period and would do well anywhere, but he would be limited by Freeman. As good as Harvin is he has never had over 1000 yards receiving and he's only had over 1000 total yards once.  With the Seahawks you'll see Harvin come close to 1500 total yards. (I didn't include punt returns in total yards, only rushing + receiving).

Drafting for need is the wrong way to approach a draft, wouldn't you agree?  I hope SchiDom doesn't feel the same way you do.
