Translation, Josh isn't a franchise QB who can carry a team.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Yea if we can just find a QB that can put up 40 points a game no need to worry about defense.

Total misconception.   Josh plays well for a stretch then poor for a stretch.  He's horribly inconsistent.

And our defense plays horrible on a consistent basis.

Though that clearly isnt the ideal situation to have to be in, those points were there to be had in many games if Josh didnt screw it up.

But I thought josh played better from behind.  We shouldn't want a good defense. ;)

We've had 32nd and 29th rated defense the last two years. Just thought I would point that out.

Cheaper that way.

Welp, I guess it's another few years before they dole out any cash on their redheaded stepchild.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

And I'll point out that Freeman has thrown 39 interceptions and fumbled 13 times the last two years. We obviously haven't had the greatest talent in our secondary but when your QB is turning the ball over at that rate it's going to put a lot of pressure on any D, regardless of skill level. On top of the unacceptable number of turnovers by Freeman, his inaccuracy alone has ended countless drives. This too puts pressure on the D when they're exhausted and have to trot back out there because of yet another three and out.

If only Freeman could do better than #7 in TD passes. Pick it up, son!  >:(

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Freeman has been far from perfect. But we have put some of the worst defenses in franchise history on the field since Freeman has got here. Not really ideal situation for a young inconsistent  QB.
