There is no "if"....Denver runs a 4-3. Not a 3-4.

Jarvis would play SLB in early downs and would rush the passer on passing downs.

Bowers, Bennett, McCoy, Clayborn all coming at the QB.

Not bad at all.
i assume by Bennett you mean Jones.

I see you're still hurting from Bennett's departure ;)

I don't care about the slow 40 ....I care about the degenerative back.
Then this should put your mind at ease.  This is an actual doctor, who is specialized in spinal cord injuries, giving him an all clear.

"leading orthopedist Craig Brigham said Jarvis Jones never had a significant spinal cord contusion. Brigham believes that Jones had a very mild incident of a contusion or even a stinger."

Actual doctors at USC diagnosed him with Spinal Stenosis . This is a narrowing of the spinal chord that puts added pressure on the spine . It is not simply a bruise that goes away. It's a condition that is proven to end NFL players careers very early.

Question is ; which doctors do you believe , and do you believe them enough to use the #13 pick on him ?

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

I'd love Jarvis Jones at 13.  I've been saying this all along.  Kills two birds with one stone.  We need a SAM and we need a pass rusher.  Plus, he is a play waiting to happen.  He is the definition of a football player.

Great let teams drop him on their boards.  Jones is the most advanced DE/OLB pass rusher in the draft in terms of technique and moves, also very flexible bending the edge.  Somebody like Mingo is a total projection pick because he has no technique and no strength but he's fast.  I'll take the guy who dominated SEC competition for two seasons over the guy who was supposed to play well but never did.

As for the injury, USC doctors diagnosed the spinal stenosis but no other doctors have found the same issues, not the georgia doctors, not all the doctors at the combine and not the spinal specialist.  Good enough for me.

I can hear it now...."if we take a SAM at 13 I'll throw a brick at my tv"

I'd be thrilled personally though.

He's not exactly Ryan Nece. He'd be a different kind of SAM than the team has ever had.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Hasnt this team taken enough injury risk guys in the draft? Those kind of guys are better suited to be drafted by teams that can afford to take on a possible bust like when the ravens drafted Suggs. this team is very thin at depth. Need impact players. i understand this guy has the potential if healthy but do we really need a SAM that bad? they rarely are on the field in this defense. Load up on the defensive line. Get a CB. No way this team takes Jones.

No more injury stricken draft projects. Price didnt work out and still waititng on return for Bowers and Clayborn. This team needs to win NOW.

What injury?  This guy has been cleared by every doctor in the US except three years ago a USC guy thought he saw an issue... nobody since then has found any indication of spinal stenosis.  Screw the SEC defensive player of the year, he plays SAM linebacker. I just don't understand

Tough call if Lotulilei and Jones are both sitting there at 13.....hell....trade back up and grab the other of you have to. My two favorite prospects this year.

As of today our starting corners are Leonard Johnson and Myron Lewis ,  and people are talking about drafting a NT or a SAM.

Freaking Amazing....

What CB do you see with the value at 13? Millner will be gone and I don't want to reach for Trufant or Rhodes.
