I for one will miss Benn and I hope he blows up at Philly.

I can't wait to hear what exactly it is that you'll miss about him.

Samari?? Crickets?? Bueller??

Wow so the gloves are off are they? Ok Hate here is my long awaited response. Sorry but my life does not hinge on what these Bucs do and do not do so its been a few days since I've been on here. You sit here and act like Benn is garbage yet you and I have had numerous conversations about how Benn had potential and hell you even liked the pick. I could care less if he knows all the plays fact of the matter is had we used Benn as a slot WR and ran slants with him he could have put up numbers. Guys his size with his speed are intriguing. Gee imagine that an offensive guy who we didn't use the way we should. Hmmm have we heard that before with this team? Hate on Benn all you want but you gotta be kidding me when you look at us releasing Briscoe and now trading Benn and replacing them with Kid N Play and Ogletree. You seriously think these guys are better!? Before you go with well what did Briscoe do last year lets look at what they have done their career. Benn will be able to make plays in a better offensive scheme. Sullivan is obviously an upgrade than wanna be Gruden but Kelly will have an explosive offense and it wouldn't surprise me if he puts up well over 500 yards of offense this year and gets better. Lets not forget Philly has Shady, Jackson and Maclin so he won't be a guy they focus on.

Again look at all the players that have under performed with this team. Sorry to see the KoolAid is affecting your memory!

Look.......we all have been guilty of posting nonsense and azzholery from time to time but for someone, anyone, to post that they'll miss Benn screams of HATEration or bromance as we can run the 1 yd Benn-a-round with anyone.

I don't know what this is supposed to mean!

Yes please explain yourself

So we can't bring up the fact Briscoe had 22 yards last season? Oh that makes sense

Wow I have never seen a bunch of guys that are ok with being average and believe all the garbage this front office and coaching staff put out there. Sorry I want better for this team and its clear Dominik and Schiano are not the people to lead this team to better.

Yeah, I just didn't know what it was the words were saying!

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

3 years of fail will change your mind on a player.   hopefully.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Let's see if i can be more clear..... there is NOTHING about Benn's play that is worthy of being missed as we could run the Benn-a-round or fair catch kick returns with anyone. Was that better??

Yes, thanks. I'm not very hip like all you youngsters.

Will freely admit it... hoped we had the next Boldin. 3 yrs later, what we have is another 2nd round bust. Now that i've answered your question, maybe you'll answer mine. What exactly is it that you'll miss about him?

I saw Benn on the practice field and two things stood out.

1. He is an amazing athlete! He is quick, fast, fearless,  and had good hands. He is one of the most impressive athletes I have ever laid eyes on.

2. He had absolutely no idea where to go or what to do.

What can you do?  He doesn't get it.

Briscoe, Benn, and Parker were competent receivers which now (no surprise) the Bucs are desperate for a third down slot WR.  Parker and Briscoe were very good pass catchers (tops in the NFC South) but the Bucs decided they didn't fit in their plan and now the WR depth is very shaky.  Sammie Stroughter is a free agent but the Bucs have yet to move to sign him, so now the Bucs are looking at the prospect of having to fill a lot of spots on the WR depth chart and returning specalists.

Bucs have made the decision to dismantle the WR depth they had, and it isn't paying off.  Benn's value was a go/post specialist and the Bucs don't have that on the roster right now beyond Mike Williams or Vincent Jackson.  Bucs keep shooting themselves in the foot with their roster decisions lately.

c'mon ADW.  everyone likes the potential of briscoe, benn and parker.  but how come they arent competent in other cities?  they appeared competent here because they were all we had...someone has to be thrown to.  probably a similar case to bennett.
