With Freeman as QB, I'd take Eifert. Bigger target.

So for argument sake based on production alone and a legitimate comparison...    Harvin or Graham?   ;)

I think Austin is much closer to Harvin than Eifert is to Graham

I chose Austin, but what you said crossed my mind.

Tavon Austin all damned day.  Dude is just greasy quick, and has the straight line speed to hit homeruns.  And his 4.3 looks legit, unlike Mike Smith's, who got caught from behind running a blatant 4.6 on that KR last year in pre-season.

No defensive players available? That doesn't seem possible.

For no defensive players to be available, that means Star, Floyd, Richardson, Ansah, Dion, Werner, Milliner, Jones, Rhodes, and Trufant are all gone....that means only two offensive players have been taken. So out of Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher, and Lane Johnson....someone is still there. I'm taking the OT.

Rather have Escobar at 45 than Eifert at 13 anyways.

Neither. No to the midget.  No to Eifert at no.13.

But Eifert is a vertical threat with height...

It does fit with our down field passing attack - no?

...we do have 2 of those guys already....wouldn't it make more sense to add a straight up burner to the group to add some versatility?

Bingo

Seriously, VJack-Williams-Austin. Hard to find a better receiving corps than that.

That's not even a question imo. Austin is so fast, explosive, and a mismatch, that it is silly. Personally, I think he'll be one of the, if not the, best players out of this entire draft. He's an absolute game changer.

For most teams I would easily pick Austin, However for us I pick Eifert. I see Austin being potentially limited by Freeman, and Eifert not being limited at all. Eifert would be an easier target to throw to on 3rd down and in the redzone. He also stretches the field deep like Graham and is most likely going to come down with the ball in traffic even if its a bad pass. Can't say the same thing about Austin (and Austin is my favorite player in this draft).

This is the same way i was thinking, No doubt austin has the game changing speed and ability, But not for the Bucs.. The best thing for the bucs is to have freeman succeed, And for him to have a better chance of that it would have to be eifert just on being an easier target for Freeman, Freeman is not very good on short quick throws on which alot of austins passes would be..
