Trufant will go in the 1st round.

Yea, I definitely don't see him getting past, say, pick 25.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

If anyone takes a corner in the latter part of the 1st, it will be the Vikings at 23 or the Falcons at 30. Other than those two teams, I just don't see it.

The Dolphins reporter that picked in the mock draft on NFL AM said they'd be targeting a CB (before selecting Trufant in the mock draft). I know I've seen the Eagles and Lions as two teams that could go CB (though unlikely they both will in the first due to position). I think the Bucs wait until round two to take a CB, personally, but if they take one at 13, I think it's a coin flip between Rhodes and Trufant. I would have been more confident in Trufant being the guy before I learned about Stokes' preference for players in the Rhodes mold.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Truant is a first round reach. IMO.

But a solid prospect. I just don't see "shut down" attached to his hips.

You never know until that day gets here...I wouldn't have thought that a team would take the 2nd best S in the draft at #7 overall....but boom. Unexpected.

Broncos could take a QB in the first too. Eagles might jump back in the 1st to draft one

I think it's a coin flip between Rhodes and Trufant.

I think Rhodes showed much more in college than Trufant did, and he has a great upside due to his size/speed. I don't think the two are going to be rated closely at all on most team's draft boards. Guess we'll see in 28 days.

Broncos took Osweilder (or however you spell it) last year in the 3rd I think. I doubt they would be looking for a QB.

Yeah, I don't know enough about their college careers, I just try to speculate based on commentary on TV and the shift in momentum. Trufant seemed like he was on the upswing and, from a character and swagger perspective, seemed like the type of guy Schiano would want on his defense. Rhodes, on the other hand, fits the description of what Stokes looks for in a player.

Austin - 22
Eifert - 8
Can't follow simple directions - 7  :)

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

Austin 23 with this post.

Directions were never a strong point on this board's polls

Austin or Eifert?

If I had to choose one, I'd go Eifert.

Eifert provides much more of a match up probem.  Especially in the redzone-goal line situations.  Can you imagine having to defend VJax, Mike Williams and Eifert period, much less in redzone-goal line situations?  Oh yea..there's this Doug Martin fella...

No go on the midget for me.

I say take Austin at 13
Trade 4th to push 2nd rounder back into first and grab Eifert.
Draft Tyler Wilson in 3rd.
Trade for Revis after draft using 2014 picks, send Freeman away to recoup some 2014 picks.
Become offensive juggernaut with best receiving corp in NFL.
