Trade LeGarrette Blount to San Fran for Carlos Rogers... They wanted to sign him as a UDFA before titans got him. Trading Rogers away opens the door for them to sign Nnamdi, which they both want.

Not sure what other compensation would be needed for this deal, if any... What say you?

I think Blount would look great in yellow/black

What do you figure Rogers is worth in trade?

The reason the Niners were willing to try for him then was they didn;t have to give up anything other than his salary to get him, different story in a trade.

I still think his eventual landing spot will be St Louis, they just lost Jackson, they have all those picks in a draft that isn't great for RBs & Fisher admitted one of his biggest mistakes as Titans HC was letting Blount go.
Maybe that makes too much sense to happen.

i say we keep Blount and get him more involved in the offense ..and like that we can have our 1-2 punch that all good teams have

I think Jacobs is a free agent.

San Fran doesn't need Blount, so this really isn't a good option for them.

I rather see Blount used like we used him agaisnt the Chiefs this year. Gain a huge lead and let him run wild.

He seems like a Steelers type of player doesn't he, would be a good fit.  I don't know how high St. Louis is on Pead but TBTtrojans post makes sense with the Fischer connection and losing Jackson. The Cowboys, Packers, Bengals, Chargers, Colts and Cardinals could use a running back also.
