Not sure if I just completely missed this the other day or not but it looks the #Buccaneers signed T Demar Dotson to a 3 year extension.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

Yeah the guy is better than Trueblood but seriously an extension. This guys would be a starter on half the other teams in the league. WOW.

You got a quality RT in Eric Winston on the market and you sign Dotson to an extension.

Our Right OT starter.

I think I'm ok with this...   he continues to get better with every snap.

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

+1 Yeah, I don't get that at all.

If I were Donald Penn I might be nervous. Dotson is in the long term plans and Bob Bostad must really like him. Good news to me. Now onto Davin Joseph.....did he play last year. LOL

I like Winston.  But not a fit IMO.

Zone Scheme...   coming off a mediocre to below average year and 30 years old.

There's a reason he's still out there...

True and he was far better than Trueblood every was that's for sure. Winston is probably asking for a ton of money so I guess i'm ok with it.

I like it - extremely reasonable deal.

Blind Melon has it exactly right on Winston.

I agree. Penn might have one year left with the Bucs unless he restructures. Look for the Bucs to target Rick Wagner as early as the 2nd round. He's a 3 year starter at LT for Wisconsin. The same place where Bucs OL Coach Bob Bostad recruited him and coached him.

He is, at worst, reasonably quality depth.  I'm not sure why anyone would be upset about this.  I don't think that that contract is such that rules out adding any additional tackles.

Can't be upset - especially if he is a backup
