It looks like our draft is starting to shape up a bit...

Desmond Trufant - Best man to man CB in the draft

No, that would be Jamar Taylor

if the revis deal falls through i dont think id mind a trufant and taylor combo.

trufant, Michael, matthieu, all make sense- im not familiar with hunt being from a smaller school but the combine numbers are pretty good for a DE, having said that I hope we wouldn't spend another first rounder on a DE we do need CBs and we need to get em early- it wouldn't surprise if dom and schiano try to go after both trufant  and Rhodes even if we trade for revis. ronde may not be back we have major holes to fill at CB I could see us takin a d-lineman as early as second round but with bowers, clayborn, and the rest of the DEs just doesn't make much sense

Hunt is like 26 or going to be, I really don't want a player as raw as him at all.

How about in the 2nd?

If we went cb in the 1st I could see Dom picking him in the 2nd if he is there.

Who is?

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

I wouldnt hate it but i wouldnt love it either. im skeptical he makes it to our 2nd round pick. i wouldnt be surprised to see someone roll the dice on him in the back end of the 1st round. he just doesnt feel like a scheme fit for us. id rather see us double up at corner than take hunt to be honest

agree. its easy to get caught up in the potential of hunt...but it might not be the best route.  if we dont deal for revis id be fine starting the draft with trufant-taylor, or even a combo of rhodes-poyer-ryan and on and on.

Did any of the "visits" get drafted last year?

We will be Carolina ready when we are Carolina ready.

And, Mark Barron. Essentially they ended up being the Bucs top three draft pciks...

Hunt has to be on the radar in the late first/early second...

could easily see MD move up to get him.

When we trade #13 for Revis, I assume 2nd round pick will be a DL. Hunt could probably play inside on 3rd downs as well.

Not my first choice, but very realistic IMO

Pro Football Talk reports Georgia DE Cornelius Washington will visit the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

PFT adds that Washington has had five workouts since his pro day, which is interesting to say the least. Washington is a rising draft prospect and has spent time as a pass rushing outside linebacker and defensive end in Georgia's 3-4 defense. The versatility will appeal to teams, especially the Falcons, who have become a multiple defense under coordinator Mike Nolan.

Great player Beat, was a top 5 pick at one time.  But I think the spinal stenosis might be scaring off some teams.
