Revis thread gets thousands of replies. Ronde Barbers retiring thread gets 102 replies.....really? Your the man Ronde

The Revis thread is full of b!tching and moaning, arguing, debating, etc...  When it comes to Ronde, he's one of the greatest of all-time.  There's no debating that.  That INT vs the Eagles is universally the greatest moment for pretty much every Buc fan alive.  What more is there to do than to, with a full and heavy heart - raise a hand to shake, and say (virtually), "Thanks"?  It's Ronde.  You don't need thousands of posts to acknowledge greatness.  You don't need thousands of posts with everyone saying the same thing.  You just need 1 to say "CHEERS RONDE!"

Be fair. How long has the Revis thread been up. I think that would explain it. Also retirement isn't a lenghty discussion.

    Here's a good article on Ronde.  http://www.theledger.com/article/20130508/COLUMNISTS0614/305085003/1127/sports02?p=2&tc=pg&tc=ar

One thing that doesn't get mentioned much is that Ronde was ALSO a key cog in the Bucs run D. He was a prolific tackler; reportedly 2nd leading tackler all-time among DBs; not sure who was first?
He recorded a ton of TFLs. I think of him as part CB, part S, part LB...

Great Article on Ronde.
  Deja vu all over again!!
Just finished reading it before coming here to post this excerpt, which I thought was absolutely spot-on PERFECT!

"The beauty of Barber's game was that he was so consistently adept at the little things that result in big moments. He impressed you more with his savvy than he ever did with sensational highlights.
So here's hoping that Barber's career ends with more people realizing his brilliance…..For those who couldn't see that when he was playing, they really missed something special."
