I don't know if this report is legit, but I've been saying all along that we'll be lucky if we can get Mike for under $8M per year. If he really wants 5 years / $36M......do it!

Yeah I would do it. Proved he isn't a one year wonder and may not have hit his ceiling yet.

One of the best #2s in the entire league and by the time Vincent starts to show his age in a few years, Mike could be ready to step up and be our #1. It's a no brainer.

Just a little bit less than that mike... How about 5 year 30 mil

i was thinking this too.  or maybe split the difference between this and the stevie johnson deal. either way, 6-7 mill per year for a high end #2 WR sounds about right.

Pay him. MW is the only real "key" player that's going to come up for FA after this year, other than Free (if you count him).

Sound like the Bucs and Mike Williams are batting in the same ballpark. I think a deal will get done next week

No way in **CENSORED** do you give a #2 WR 8 mil each year for three years....

i assume mike will will get paid by the Bucs...but to think negotiations wont happen is simple minded.  mike will wants the most, the Bucs want to pay the least, and eventually the two will meet in the middle.

That's a reasonable number for Mike Williams... If that's all it takes to keep him then they should show him that dough.

We should be glad that he doesn't have his head up his ass like Percy Harvin expecting top WR money.
