The White House, the IRS, the State Department and the Department of Justice  . . .  all caught fibbing

The IRS:

That information seemingly contradicts public statements by IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, who told congressional investigators in March 2011 that specific groups were not being targeted.

Benghazi:

"The administration’s behavior before and during the attack in Benghazi, in which four Americans died, was unworthy of the greatest power on earth"

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/12/opinion/sunday/dowd-when-myths-collide-in-the-capital.html?_r=0

Fast & Furious

"New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress"

Sequester:

"None other than NBC’s David Gregory today pressed Obama’s chief economic advisor, Gene Sperling, whether his boss told the truth in the third presidential debate that “the sequester is not something that I’ve proposed. It is something that Congress has proposed.”  Sperling finally wilted under the pressure of tough questioning to  admit that “yes, in fact, the sequestration was President Obama’s plan.”

IRS.
Although it appeared they lied I can understand why they were targeted. There are people including politicans putting money into non-profit groups so they won't be taxed on it. That should raise a red flag.

Benghazi
It still surprised my Romney and republican's response was fairly weak on the issue. It tells me they really didn't **CENSORED** a #$%.

Fast and Furious
Same as Benghazi

Sequester
Congress could have done something but chose not too.

Blaming only one party about issues now a days is flat out dumb when the other does little to nothing to fix it.

Ouch . . .end justifies the means?  Why lie if people would "understand" the targeting? Hmm . . .

Sequester

I wasnt blaming either party for the sequester, I was noting that the President LIED about it.

The American people have no right to complain about the demise of their country and of the government if they set the bar so low as to accept lies as justified.

Wondering if Dems are getting nervous about what they might have signed up for with this administration

WASHINGTON -- Add a prominent Senate Democrat to the list of congressional leaders seeking hearings into the Internal Revenue Service's treatment of Tea Party groups seeking tax-exempt status.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., said his committee's investigation would include "who knew what" about the IRS's extraordinary scrutiny of conservative groups. "The IRS will now be the ones put under additional scrutiny," Baucus said in a written statement to reporters Monday.

"These actions by the IRS are an outrageous abuse of power and a breach of the public's trust. Targeting groups based on their political views is not only inappropriate but it is intolerable," Baucus said.

The IRS admitted Friday that it had subjected Tea Party-affiliated groups to additional scrutiny based, in some cases, solely on whether the name of the organization reflected a conservative ideology. That scrutiny sometimes involved improper questions into the group's funding, members and associations.

Baucus joins counterparts in the Republican-controlled House also seeking hearings. They include Ways & Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., and Oversight committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif.

Baucus was silent on the timing of the hearings, but said he wanted to read a forthcoming report from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. That report is expected this week, the inspector general's office said.

Possibly, even Pelosi chimed in .  . . although in her own inimitable way:

uh . .  . the substance . .  should've been clearer, I guess.

George Will is a good source and a smart guy, but the actual website that posted the George Will video and the editorializing around it (i.e., calling Carney Baghdad Bob) NOT why I posted it.

If you are trying to get a point across which you are. Don't do it by questioning the source where you got your information.

Lol, thanks for the lesson BUT by "source" I meant the actual website.  I was too lazy to go find the actual ABC video.  I am pretty sure that anyone who clicks the link could figure that part out . .  but thanks
