Decent player....and doesn't every defensive player hope to play well enough to get such an honor?

Good for him for aiming for something that might just be impossible. Go big or GTFO.

I would love for our QB to have the same attitude and compeitive spirit to publically state that he was going aim to perfom at a level that would earn him league MVP honors.

never got why people make such a big deal about a player saying he wants to be MVP or saying they have a shot at the Super Bowl. What is he suppose to say, He is striving for Mediocrity and a .500 record???

Guys:  Des Bishop is so far away from being a defensive MVP it is comical he would chirp like that.

I found his comment funny, and I will remind people watching packers games about his chances. Ba ha ha!

Every player wants to be a baller supreme. But few that are deserving ever say it. I compare this to Zebo saying he is going to be the NBA MVP. It ain't happening ace, but thanks for the comedy.

In 2010 and 2011 he was a pretty good player. Sure, the chances of him actually getting defensive MVP are slim to none...but why not set the goals high?

I actually went and read the original article. Pretty cool story. Rooting for him....well up until it conflicts with the Bucs, of course. Good for him.
