"Any insistence that the Glazer family is cheap or focused on Manchester United instead of the Buccaneers has been proven wrong for the second year in a row."

Actually, the theory was that the Glazers went cheap on the Bucs while they were having cash flow problems due to the purchase of ManU, and reinvested in the Bucs once those issues were resolved. This second year of spending doesn't refute that theory, it supports it.

If I lived within 200 miles, I'd have season tickets. The tailgate/stadium atmosphere blows out the experience of just watching it at home. I enjoy it so much, I go to 49ers games with friends, several times a year.

They spent the least amount of money on players from 2004-2011.  What would anyone think?

You could make the same argument that they spent the most money the last 2 years to bring in outside players. It should be the fans part of the deal to reward them for making the massive financial commitments to Nicks, V Jax, Revis, and Goldson.

We as fans need to support the team. The money were giving Revis, the o-line, etc. doesn't grow on trees. We buy tickets then the stadium is loud. If the stadium is full and loud then the fans at home can watch and support. It will be embarassing if we have games blacked out again this year.

the Bucs spent a ton of money in 2011.  they spent a ton of money in 2012.  and now theyve spent a ton of money in 2013.  you really gonna sit here and complain about 2010?  complain about not spending money in 2004?  wow.

I enjoy the AC, cheap beer and my HDTV in my man cave as much as anyone else.

I have been to one Tampa game in Tampa and the atmosphere of the actual game cannot be beat and it's not close.

He didn't bring it up, Cook did, and then implied he was a stupid troll. Extremely unprofessional.

Morgan I see your point, but the fact is they are now. That's all. This is THE team in Tampa and they just happened to be owned by the Glazers whether you like it or not. You can be bitter about the past and choose to not attend games or you can go and support the team. If I looked into every corporation of every product I buy, chances are I could find plenty of faults. Look no farther than this Mac Book and iphone I use.

As far as being a cheerleader, that is absurd. Yeah they pinned a medal on me for criticizing Donald Penn a few weeks ago. Also had a parade in my honor for my story on Schiano questioning his knowledge of the Blount injury last year. Heck I may get an upstairs office soon! That is just a false statement. We may err on the side of optimism from time to time, but I nor SR have never written a story, thinking, "Hey, bet the Bucs will love this one!"
