Despite saying he wanted more competition at quarterback in 2013, the Buccaneers only addition was third-round draft pick Mike Glennon. Schiano, told NFL Total Access Monday that Freeman is his quarterback.

Still, it's not a ringing endorsement. More like tolerating overtone to it.

Honestly, he sounds more enamored with his Luke mccown clone than freeman.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Yup. He had more positive feelings shown towards his Luke clone.

It's like he saying, "Dom won't let me, so he's our guy. ...Btw, I just drafted this incredible QB in the third if anyone is interested."  ::)

Once again...coach speak.

Yes, but we can see where his loyalties are, and they aren't with freeman so it appears.

Just listen to the amount of praise he heaps on Glennon (which besides the pick, has no reason to defend or compliment), while just saying over and over again, "Freeman's our guy."

It's not like we can't see through that coachspeak crap and tell Dom is pulling those strings. Schiano has already bought a new house and is just about to move. The furnature is already packed and in the moving van.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

If your current house has electrical problems, a leaky roof,  foundation problems, has a sink hole in the backyard, and is next to noisy/annoying neighbors....then it might be time to move on to a new house. ;)

And a house is only as good as it's foundation.

Freeman is probably going to be great one day when he is in the right situation. Maybe he will move into a house with a good foundation and then he won't be having all of the BS issues he is having with the foundation here.

Would not be wise to trade your house in for a single wide trailer either.

What exactly is the problem with a good receiving core, great running game, and good Oline?

Good Oline?

Are you evaluating the Oline that hasn't taken one snap yet in 2013,  or the crap he has played behind since day one?

True of every position on this team. "he's our man" until we can replace him with someone better. Should be no surprise to people.

Of coruse Freeman is the guy. Who else would the Bucs turn to at this point? I would have much rather seen Carson Palmer here instead Glennon. He doesnt pass the QB eye test at all. Not saying Palmer would have pushed Freeman. i just think he would have given the Bucs a legit option to go to should freeman struggle for too long. Outside of TE i think the Bucs have surrounded Freeman with a lot of weapons, so there are no more excuses for him. This is his year and i think we all hope it plays lights out. If not our team probably will get blown up again and the rebuilding could start all over. That would stink.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?
