In today's NFL, if you don't put the QB on his ass, you don't win.
sf & bal were both middle of the road teams in sacks, right?

Better case in point would be the Rams.

They had 52 sacks last year and still didn't win.

Now if the Bucs could get sack numbers and QB play like  2012 SF or Balt then most questions would be answered.

Turn the page.

Bucs defense played great for 10 of the 11 qtrs he was out there. Individual stats aren't everything.

They also played great during that time with Eric Wright out there....doesn't mean Eric Wright didn't play like crap aside from one INT return.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

San Fran was 9th, Baltimore was 13th.

We were tied for 3rd worst.... which would contribute our horrific pass defense. We could have Revis @ 100% and Deion in his prime.....if you don't pressure the QB, you're gonna get picked apart.... especially in today's NFL where you can't touch the WR.

Can't believe this is even being debated.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

Over the past three years, we are dead last in sacks. I mean....dead last. Let that sink in. Think of all the awful teams in the NFL....and we are DEAD LAST.

Our number one need is a stud DE like Freeney. I know that he will "take snaps away" from our current players.

That's the whole point We suck and lost our best pass rusher from last year.

This situation is not going to fix itself.

Mike Glennon
6\' 7\" 220 pounds.
6\' 6\" 210
6\' 5\" 200
6\' 4\" 190 6\' 3\" 180 6\' 2\" 170 6\' 1\" 160  6\' 0\" 150 How does he compare to your favorite QB?

Usually the "company men" don't like to point out potential weak spots. It's much easier to turn a blind eye to it and "remain positive".
