Then you can't comment on him.

Well when your boy Freeman goes to 9 pro bowls, is a 3 time all pro, a MVP, and wins 3 conference championships and becomes a HoFer maybe you can comment on how bad Tarkenton was.

Lets compare JF to Bart Starr!!!!

No comparison.   Starr was a winner.

He was also on a team that consisted of almost nothing but HOF's.

Show me one WR during the Bart Starr years that was better than VJax.
Lance Alworth.

Hey Fran couldn't win the big one when his team needed him to come up big, not my fault. You will also see that I am not a Freeman apologist and as a matter of fact I don't believe the QB that will lead us to our next superbowl isn't even on the roster.

Some of you guys need to wrap this around your head:  Freeman acknowledged his credentials. And was respectful.

The only one who cares is Tark himself. That's incredible!

Thanks for supporting the point that Bart Starr was a winner.   Since he played AGAINST those guys, not with them, he must have been a real stud to overcome that disadvantage.   Fact is, the Packers did not have a WR anywhere near as good as VJax when Bart Starr was QB of the Packers.

You think either of those guys were better than Doug Martin?   I don't.

To be fair, there's some things you have to consider about the Fran The Scrambler:
He had 74 offensive coordinators in 75 years.
He still hasn't hit puberty, and could turn into a Manning at any second.
He scored enough points to win, if the defense had kept the other side from scoring more.

That and he was 16-32-3 in his first 4 years. Definitely a winner!  :o

How many years did it take Fran to get it? I'm asking because this was before my time I don't know who he is.

Jim Taylor was the only guy to lead the NFL in rushing other than Jim brown during browns nine years. Yeah he was pretty good.
