Everyone is comparing to Mike James to Ernest Graham.  I don't know where it comes from, but I find it strange.  Ernest Graham is more like a poor-man's Emmitt Smith. Who do I compare Mike James to?  Terrell Davis!  He's a poor man's TD!  In both cases, their just not quite as strong as those guys were.

I didn't know about him Beatles when we drafted him; but, I checked him out on youtube and found him interesting enough for me.  I'm honestly been rooting for Mike Smith, but Mike James has gotten me more excited than ever!

I get this feeling the Bucs are going to cut a few fan favorites this year! I'm going to miss Mike Smith and Anthony Gaiter.  I've already lost Joe Holland.  The question is who beat him out?  Decicco?

I would say based on the little I have seen Caddy would be a nice comparison.

I thought about this last game and I couldn't come up with a good comparison. At least not to any top RBs in the past two decades. I've read people comparing him to Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis, which isn't a bad comparison, but there's probably a better comparison that no one has thought of as yet.

It took Graham a little time to get the NFL speed.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

Dom's comparison after the draft was based on both Graham and James being solid as blockers, receivers, and runners. The Bucs seem to value that all-round ability more than many teams, and backs right out of college rarely are as polished as blockers or receivers as James has already shown. That's all there was to it.
Cadillac Williams was a poor blocker and receiver when we drafted him. He did show improvement later in his career. The only guy mentioned who could block was Dunn; others weren't ever known as blockers that I'm aware of...

James was terrible tonight.   I think I'd compare him to Allen Bradford.

Fran Tarkenton, Hall of Fame QB said. \\\"Ive watched Freeman a lot. He just plays God-awful. Thats who you are. Its just a player being able to play or not play. Josh Freeman has proven to me that he cant play.\\\"

James pass pro was lackluster tonight. He will likely only make the team because he was a draft pick.
