He said that they have four and have run three this preseason.... But I could've sworn I saw them run more in the Ravens game alone. Im no coach though....

Gannon once said that, in the 2002 season, the Oakland Raiders only ran like... a dozen plays, total.  But all the routes had options, and you could run those plays out of any formation, so it looked like an entire playbook worth of material.

Or maybe I'm misremembering.  I don't know.

How do you run into your RB when you only have four plays?

Its easy when the RB runs in to you.. But Doug is like God, he doesn't make mistakes.

It's good that you recognize that.

Can I get a amen?

I was watching last year's games that I missed and ABenn was terrible with a capital T.

He was trying to return kicks. Had a decent one. But on one play the ball got loose and popped out of the pile and hit Benn in the hands and he couldn't hold on.

Uggggh.

Peyton Manning has never used a large playbook, he has done just fine. You don't need a zillion plays to have a good offense.

I am sure there are a few numbers between 4 and a zillion. lets see 4 -1000000000000000000000000000000=999999999999999999999999999996
if they have only 4 plays that tells me they have only 4 alignments. I am sure there is a 2 TE set with 2wr
there is a 3 WR set with a FB and a RB
a 2 WR set with TE FB and RB
and a 2TE and 2 WR set with RB

there is your 4 plays

With options four plays in this offense could mean millions of different possible routes.

It's not just four plays in the traditional sense.
