I agree, but maybe they think because he can play WR and TE he has more value and deserved a spot on the final 53. Not saying I agree, but that seems like a possible train of thought.

He's a swing player, Schiano loves those guys that can do more than one thing.
They cant possibly think Wright is a better WR than Underwood was.

They cant think he was even better than Douglas.

Underwood was bad, really bad. He has suspect hands and a case of the alligator arms when crossing the middle. He also could get tackled by a stiff cross wind. He was honestly the slowest 4.2 I've ever seen in my life. For someone with such amazing speed, it never, ever came through, not even a little bit.
