Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Jets

KICKOFF: 1:00PM EST
Television: FOX

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to face the seemingly homeless Jets of New York.

Revis returns to New York to square off against his former teammates. Revis, one of the league's best defenders in terms of footwork and getting into position to make plays was Mark Sanchez's #1 receiver in practice for many years. The jets head coach, who is no stranger to footwork, has named rookie quarterback Geno Smith as their teams day 1 starter. Unfortunately, many who predicted Revis would get 8 interceptions in week 1 were upset to see Sanchez wouldn't be starting and may have to adjust their predictions as Geno Smith will start opening day.

Sweet.

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

People think its funny to say we are sad Sanchez isnt playing , but really we arent. Geno is a meltdown waiting to happen.

I bet he gets a couple picks just from severe overthrows across the middle- typical of rookies who struggle with accuracy.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Good thing the Jets cut Chad Spann. We have a chance now.

Go Bucs!

Our scheduled opponents keep cutting these once in a generation players. Myron got cut out in Detroit too I hear.

I feel like he's kind of being thrown in the fire (Geno), but I don't think he could be any worse than Sanchez. The guy consistently throws 50% completion percentage and is just not a very efficient quarterback. I think they (Jets) stand to gain more from Geno starting at quarterback than Mark and I'm not even a Geno Smith fan.

First score. Fake punt, koenen goes 60 yards for a TD. Stiff arms a couple linebackers along the way.
