Not too shabby. Bucs lead the NFC with 9 sacks as a team. Nice job, defense!

How can that be! After all we let Superman himself, the triple digit sack master of all time, Michael Bennett, walk.  All the doom sayers proclaimed the world at an end and how Tampa would never sack the QB again.  What does PFF have to say about this?

Still won't win games with Schiano as coach.

Off to a very good start. History shows getting a serious number of sacks from back 7 players is unsustainable, but the linemen have been doing a respectable job, too. They should be able to keep it up even when offensive coordinators figure out the Bucs' blitzes and Foster and David start getting blocked.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Definitely been a pleasant surprise. I've though Clayborn looks good, would love to see him finish with actual sacks more haha.

Well it's obvious that the defense is doing this in spite of coaching not because of it.  They must ignore the defensive play calling and run their own made up scheme.   I mean, from what I read on this forum is Schiano and his entire coaching staff is "bush-league".  And it must be true, because you can't lie on the internet.

Schiano renamed the motto revis came up with, the "no win zone."

I don't think anybody could have predicted we would be leading the NFC in sacks. How much of this is Spence and how much is Revis-related?

But didn't you also say the Bucs would never get a sack again with Schiano as coach?

Unlike so many posters seem to think, there usually is not just one correct answer or cause.  I think it is Spence, Revis, a more experienced David and Foster, scheme, Clayborn, McCoy etc.
