This is an issue.

On the Buccaneers Radio Network postgame show, former Bucs tight end Anthony Becht referred to Wright as “a guy that probably shouldn’t be out there.” One can say the Bucs don’t emphasize the tight end position much, but still, Dallas Clark caught 47 balls and four touchdowns last season. That production has to be made up. Joe also looks at Bucs No. 3 receiver Kevin Ogletree, a guy who has shown worse hands than Michael Clayton’s, and Joe wonders who the hell evaluated this guy to be worthy of his job. And he’s our third best receiver?

As for the offensive playcalling? It’s not working. It’s as if NFL defenses caught up to Mike Sullivan late last season and never looked back.

“What were the second-half adjustments?” Becht asked rhetorically.

They caught up to Freeman in 2011.  We fooled them for a bit in 2012, but now we can no longer hide the suck that is Josh Freeman.  The book is out.

No excuses.

Freeman is simply a terrible player who stole money.

S is an awful coach.

It's not good. His days are numbered. Rah said he was our franchise QB.

Schiano ain't buying it.

Nobody else is either.

Fine.

Dominik can receive his pink slip along with Schiano and Freeman.

Why doesn't this team have a capable 3rd WR and TE ?

Because Dom leaves too many holes and hopes for the best.

Excuses excuses.

Just tired excuses from tired fans who didn't watch the game with a keen knowledge of what's going on.

I've seen other QBs with fewer weapons at WR and TE not look anywhere near as lost as Freeman does.

How can an NFL offense function with at least a 3rd down WR or a capable TE?  The Bucs lack BOTH!  Even the terrible, terrible teams of the NFL have either one (eg Cleveland).

BS.  We have more than enough receiving threats.  What we lack is a competent QB.  I'm sick of seeing Josh stare down a guy who is covered and ignore the open guy and force a throw.  It's not like the opportunities aren't there, because they are.  Josh just doesn't see them.

Shouldn't Schiano have seen that coming?

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

The lack of depth on this team is glaring, one guy does down and the whole team falls apart. Entire staff has to go.

Yes. Yes. OMG Yes. it  leaves me SMH.

You would have thought that Dom would have learned his lesson about this by now.

C.B's 2012 ring a bell?

My patience is wearing thin.

Isn't that why we drafted Glennon
