It was another tough loss on Sunday in Seattle after Tampa Bay fell 27-24 in overtime. Now 0-8, the season is more than over and it was their conservative play calling that got them their eighth loss of the season.

The only thing he's got to answer to is "0-8".

The rest is just STFU.

I've said this since yesterday. The play calling was not conservative, Glennon's decision making was. Schiano is trying to protect his guy with downplaying the whole not getting the ball off in time comments, but the fact is that Glennon does not have that killer instinct at the end of games. Usually, a QB going 5-7 in the 4th quarter is a good thing, except when 4 of those 5 completions are only for 5 yards each, and the 5th one is for 3 yards.

Glennon's last five completions netted a total of 23 yards. On the Seahawks' final 4th quarter drive alone, Russell Wilson's completed 3 passes for 40 yards.

There is little doubt that Schiano does go conservative, and gets out coached in the second half...

At the same time, Glennon does look timid and hesitant to take intermediate shots late in games.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

Well, I'm glad this game showed "promise."

Raheem showed "promise." Freeman showed "promise."  Ruud showed "promise." Bowers showed "promise." Clayborn showed "promise." Hell, Garcia showed "promise."

Promise is overrated. Production is where it matters. It's the difference between talking about having a big d1ck, and actually having one. And judging by how he closes games out, schiano's is baby sized.

Now he allowed them to actually play to win some in the first (adding newer wrinkles), then cut the rug out from under them in the 2nd half, and is now saying they "just didn't covert?" ..no wonder why he's going jobhunting soon. Glennon was surprisingly effective until the calling became predictive.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.
