Rams are smart . They will probably end up raping someone in another trade back.

Smart, but a lot lucky. It was just good fortune (and a terrible team) that put them in position to have Dan Snyder come calling.

And they'll only be smart trading back this year if one of the QBs doesn't turn out better than Bradford.

It's probably not likely, but shopping Bradford doesn't hurt anyone. If someone bites and offers a high enough compensation, what's to stop them from dealing him on draft day and taking a top 3 QB? Not really that far fetched. He hasn't exactly earned his keep in St. Louis.

Bradford's base salary is $14 million. That's expensive for an average/below average QB with an extensive injury history. I can't believe anybody is going to trade much for that.  Rams have next to zero cap room (under $1,000,000), so most likely scenario would be a Bradford fire-sale to a team with tons of cap room like the Raiders, Jaguars, or Browns.  Unless the Rams really view Bradford as the man...

Many trades include an agreement on a restructured contract.

Of course, but it's still tricky and Bradford's going to be expensive, especially for a sub 60%, low YPA, low TD% QB who takes a lot of sacks and has missed 15 games in 4 seasons due to injury.  Remember, he's going to have to agree to this restructure.

What team meets these qualifications:

Wants a Franchise QB
Isn't in a position to draft a Franchise QB
Thinks Bradfords 4 years in the league demonstrate he's capable of being a Franchise QB
Wants to give up assets and restructure his contract to get him

At the very least, hopefully not us.

You don't trade for him, you hope he's a cap casualty. He is counting 17 mil on their cap I believe. If he does not restructure he is all but gone imo. Plus the Rams could easily fall in love with one of the QB's by the time we get to the draft, there is a lot of time to impress.

Yeah I really like him ...I'd be happy if that was the pick.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

I'm firmly on the Derek Carr to Jacksonville train. And yes, I mean at pick No. 3.

Would leave us with either Bridgewater or Bortles if this and the Manziel/Houston rumors are true.  I wonder how Atlanta would choose between Clowney and Matthews (or Robinson). What's the percentage they go LT to protect Ryan over the DE?
