what you disagree with is ANY meaningful control.

I guess you will tell me what I made up?

Which is quite ironic considering just how meaningful an "assault weapons" ban would be.

I guess that means the answer to my questions is "nothing"?

Here Vin, have a slice of pure awesomeness, then maybe you won't suck so bad.

from a guy who has been banned from a football site . . . and is too fragile to admit the obvious dishonesty in this:

Less guns in the wrong hands decreases gun violence. .

. Anyone telling you that "MORE GUNS = MORE GUN VIOLENCE" is just flat out wrong, and likely an inbred, bucktoothed halfwit with penis breath and a mullet."

Not at all, Vin. In fact, I see my mistake now.

Vin:  "There were 25 guns on a Chicago block and the police picked up 5 of them, how many guns were left?"
+
"This alternative has allowed an estimated 6.6 million guns, or about 40 percent of all gun purchases, to be sold each year without the benefit of a federal background check. (Source: Its Time to Act gun-violence prevention plan.)"

So, according to this, there are sixteen and a half million guns sold each year. Take away five of them - and you end up with less than you started with!

Less guns! It's all clear to me now.
5 > 16,500,000. For the life of me, I don't know why I couldn't see that before.

"There are guns in the "right hands" and gun in the "wrong hands" and together they equal Total Guns, but if we subtract from the guns in the "wrong hands" there are not less Total Guns."

I may have to reconsider, you could be on to something here...

All been covered a thousand times, someone just needs attention. Stop giving it to him.

haha . . . you sure do have a fragile ego Illum, you use a football message board as a confidence builder and then when the real you appears, you can't help yourself but to keep trying to recover the image.  lol.

"...you can't help yourself but to keep trying to recover the image."

Hey, it's a carefully cultivated image...

You know you still haven't lost the habit of assigning your own motivations to others. And you just revealed your purpose for this thread.

Did you really think that you could recover your image with this thread? That's just too rich. But it does explain why those other two threads are anathema to you.

I mean the other threads you can no longer bear to go into, if that clears it up for you. Would make it too difficult for you to maintain your denial over what happened to you in there. Please continue with restoring your image, I find the process fascinating. It's become clear that you see me as the key to that restoration.

what you disagree with is ANY meaningful control.

I guess you will tell me what I made up?

Which is quite ironic considering just how meaningful an "assault weapons" ban would be.

I guess that means the answer to my questions is "nothing"?

1. Ask question
2. Read answer
3. Ignore answer
4. Pretend answer never happened.
5. Ask question again.

right, if it was something it would have been posted by now, no need for cryptic responses

Nothing cryptic about it Vin. If you don't agree with the answer you pretend it never happened. Pretty simple really.
