actually the BIGXII is the worst right now and its not close
LOL

Maybe you aren't intellectually dishonest, but just completely clueless.

hahaha right. i know more about college football than you ever will kid

the BIGXII sucks horribly this year and every sports site has them rated lower than the ACC. they were dreadful this year and Oklahoma beating Bama is the only saving grace for them. nobody gives a damn that you think the SEC is the best.

you are the typical conference pride **CENSORED**rider

Obviously....... One site disagrees. It just happens to also be the only one that really counts for anything. I agree that the Big 12 isn't anything special this year, but the only conference that "sucks horribly" is the ACC.

Do you disagree that the SEC is the best conference in the game?

I give a damn that you think that you know more about me than CFB. It makes me LULZ all over the place.

My favorite team is the best in the history of the sport. I don't need to **CENSORED**ride anyone. I'll leave that for DJ to do.

I've also made it abundantly clear that I am rooting for FSU in the title game, so if I was **CENSORED**riding anyone, it would be a team from the weakest conference in the game, and not the best.

If the SEC goes winless in all of their BCS bowl games this year will The Chuckleheads at ESPN admit they were wrong for pimping thier network's own conference?  If Auburn and Mizzou lose, can we all admit that Sparty had a better argument for being in the NCG?

Of course not, which is why I love CFB.

Mizzou isn't playing in a BCS game. Only 2 teams from any one conference can play in BCS games.

Assuming an FSU blowout, I think you could make the argument that the better team might not have gotten the crack at FSU, but no, there isn't really a better argument for MSU being there, which is why nobody is making it.

i still dont get the SEC SEC SEC thing. I acknowledge that its a great conference loaded with ranked teams including a handful of really good teams every year. But does chanting that SEC SEC SEC crap make UF fans feel better about being 4-8?  Living vicariously through Auburn?  Or the rest of the SEC riding Bama's coat tails the last couple years? Arrogant SEC fans just amaze me.   Do Yankee fans cheer for the Sox or Rays in October? AL EAST AL EAST AL EAST!!!  I dont think Michigan was cheering for Sparty or Urban over this past week. Its really incredible with so much tradition and strong rivalries in the SEC fans can put all that aside when their team isnt playing and cheer just as hard for a conference rival. Does it make you feel better watching conference rivals play in BCS games and win titles?   Hey at least we play a hard schedule!  Ummmm......ok what does that get you?  Pride?  Is it really great to be a 4-8ter?    You can keep your conference pride.  At the end of the day the goal is to contend for national titles right?  Are FSU fans suppose to feel guilty that they dominated the ACC to get to the title game?  I sure as hell don't.  I'm happy that we've blown everyone out and I look forward to the test tomorrow. Go Noles!

No you shouldn't feel guilty for your cupcake schedule.....just deny it like RUntroll.

....and don't get cry when 1 loss automatically eliminates you from any chance at contention in the future polls.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Those were UF fans that made the trip out to Arrlington chanting "SEC!" after the Missouri Cotton Bowl win? I didn't know that.

No.......  Why would they? Does the perceived strength of the AL East give them any advantage? Do the vast majority of Yankee players come from the same region of the country as Red Sox players?

You must be pretty freakin stupid to not understand why SEC fans like the fact that they play in what is recognized as the toughest football conference.

You must be pretty freakin stupid to not understand why people in the south take so much pride in being the best at football.

Obviously, you don't get it.  Those same UF fans were chanting the same thing after they won their National Championships in 2006 and 2008, along with the other National Championship winners the last seven years.

MFM,
You state that "we'll enjoy getting the nod over every other conference when there's multiple teams vying for that last playoff spot."  How do you know that?  Has there been ANY criteria released as to how they will make that determination?   We could say that the SEC is the toughest conference but what facts support that for this year?  Certainly not their BCS record this year (potentially 0-2).  You could argue their teams poll better - but how credible is that?  Those same polls had UF and UGA as top 10 at the beginning of the year while FSU was 12th.  It took those polls over 8 weeks before they even RANKED Auburn and MSU.  That lacks credibility.  Either base it only on Compueters - or slot 8 teams with CC's and two wild cards.

agree

The fact that the polls change every week shows absolutely that they are ridiculously inaccurate.  However, suddenly at the end of the season on the last poll taken it is exactly right after being wrong the entire season?  :o

You don't get true champions by conducting a beauty contest every year.

not this year my friend.  FSU is the best but you guys will probably try to claim it as part of your streak since FSU is "built like an SEC team."    :P ;) but as you watch us celebrate take solace in the fact that you guys play a tough conference schedule.  ;D Your reign of terror is over.  Get used to this.  We'll be back next year too.....
