Tight lipped on the GM front right now. Not even any Twitter rumors.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

It's not going to be anyone you've "heard of" like McKay or Davis. It will be some other team's scouting director or player personnel guy most fans have never heard of.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Chris Ballard “leading candidate” for Buccaneers G.M.....going backwards.  Looks like the good old guy will be back.

Chris Ballard is the name being thrown around. No GM experience, but worked as a scout for many years in Chicago with Lovie.

I really like bringing in a young, up and coming personnel guy like Ballard who has a reputation for being a very good evaluater of talent.  What concerns me a little is he is guy who has never managerda salary cap.  I would have to think they will hire a cap guy as well.

Dom had to have a right hand man helping him with the salary cap... I hope we kept that person.

I think they're waiting for someone involved in the playoffs...

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

I have no problem using a cap guru to manage the cap while the GM handles other duties.  Much like a CFO reports to a CEO. Different jobs.

Butch Davis has left the house. He was shown the door by the Glazers. On the way out they asked him , "What the hell exactly were we paying you for again?"
