Outside pundits thought Freeman, Ruud, and Davin Joseph were awesome too.

Outside pundits love Bortles as well. Your point?

Average Buc fans that watch every game and pay close attention know more about Buc players than national pundits that report on all 32 teams with limited knowledge.

If "Darkhorse" means "No QB and no chance" then this article is spot on. Lol@ the idea of Glennon or Geno Smith taking their team to a Super Bowl in 2014.

Is it really that ridiculous?
Of course not. Grossman, Collins, Dilfer, Delhomme, Hasselbeck

All meh QBs that have been to the Super Bowl that rode a talented roster.

Very true JD, which goes to show that getting it right on a player is not an art, nor a science, but pure blind luck. However when a player actually does better than expected is it not better to nurture that growth to see if it blossoms rather than rip it out and try something else that has yet to show it will grow? Glennon could be our piece of blind luck from the draft, others, who are actually paid to notice,  see a glimpse of promise from Glennon, yet members of this board want to roll the dice without actually seeing what we have, and no, 13 games with an abysmal O scheme for a disfunctional coaching staff is not a good basis for measuring Glennon's ability.

are you kidding? you were one of Freeman's biggest fans and people tried telling why he's not a good QB and his success was a sham but you ignored it for a very long time. Now that we have rookie who actually shows real QB qualities and potential you fail to see it. I actually cant wait untill the new offense gets installed and Glennon thrives. Its going to be funny to watch you flip flop again

I find it interesting how so many pundits outside Tampa Bay think Glennon is a solid QB but we think he's a hot mess. Are we just to close and to critical?
haters gon hate.

Especially the ones who say Glennon=No QB.

That's because he pulls for the names on the back of the jersey more than the name on the front.

Flip flopping is a term made up by ignorant people to describe the process of changing your stance on a topic and evolving your opinion as new information is learned...instead of sticking to your guns with the stubbornness of a mule while ignoring new evidence. I will gladly wear the title of flip flopper.

Only pulling going on here is the nonsense you are pulling out your ass. I want a real QB so the Bucs can be a legit contender. I could give two sh!ts what the name on his jersey is.

Whole idea of darkhorse candidates before the draft or free agency is pretty silly anyways.

See I would believe you if you actually gave Glennon a chance but you bagged on the guy since day one.

Because I have seen him as an average back up QB since day one and have seen nothing to make me think otherwise. The fact he looks like a goofy giraffe is just a bonus. Guy could look like Brad Pitt and sh!t golden eggs...he is still a back up.

"Average" Buc "fans" are also up in here calling for us to trade Doug Martin and explaining how Vincent Jackson is overpaid. At one point, Freeman, Ruud, Joseph were playing at a high level....just not consistently. None of those pundits are saying that now. It is very convenient to evaluate when you have hindsight working for you.
