If they think he's the guy we're in trouble...

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Define trouble because the 32nd ranked offense is as low as you can go yo.

Drafting any of the top four QB's is improving the 32nd ranked offense (Bridgewater, Bortles, Manziel, and Carr).

Can a second year Glennon with a healthy squad and better coaching be an improvement?

I think Carr is the best QB in this draft.  I prefer to see what we can get out of Glennon, but Carr has all the tools and is much more mobile.  Size wise, he is similar to Rogers or Cutler, and I think his game is similar to both of those guys.  I know the prognosticators have him outside the big 3, but I don't think Manziel or Bridgewater are first round QBs.  Bortles has good size, but I don't think his arm is anywhere near as good as Carr's. I admit though, I have only seen Bortles in the Louisville and Baylor games, and he looked great in both.  If the team thinks that Carr would be an upgrade, then I don't think they would hesistate to draft him early.  Remember, no one expected EJ Manuel to be the first QB drafted last year, so you can't always rely on what is out there.  I heard peter king on the radio last week saying that the Browns previous front office laid all the "we love Manziel" reports out there, but were sold on Carr instead.

Yeah because 1st round qbs never bust....ever.

What if improving the offensive line and skill positions around Glennon gives us the most improvement?

Good straight line speed doesnt make you mobile. He only had 100 and something rushing yards his entire career against pathetic Mountain West defenes. Mobility is not a part of his game . Throwing off his back foot as soon as anyone gets near him is.

I am aware he did not run the ball a lot in college.  However, you cannot deny he is athletic.  Carr's strength is his arm, which I think is clearly the best of the big 4 in this draft.  Everyone has the player they like best.  I think Bridgewater has a noodle arm, and Manziel is not an NFL caliber passer who relies on running around for receivers to get open.  Again, I have only seen Bortles twice.  He played great both times, but his arm is not as great as Carr's.  He does have better size though.  I like Glennon, but I think it is hard to deny that Tedford knows QBs.  If he thinks someone in this draft is a better fit for what we are going to do on offense, then I would be open to drafting that player in any round, any pick.

No way I'm taking Carr that high. We better be trading way down in round 1.

I like Carr, just not at 7. Bottom of R1 or top of R2 sure, sign me up.

This I don't understand. if he is a starting level QB he is a value at 7. If he isn't then he's not a value at bottom of 1 or 2. So which is it?

I agree.  I dont think he's starting level so I wouldnt touch him before round 4 since we dont have a 3rd.  Just my opinion.

Support him due to the lack of other options.  If my choice is 2nd year Glennon and rookie Carr, I take 2nd year Glennon all day.

Something's 'off' with that article. Mike Sullivan is NOT listed as the Giants' QB coach on their site. Maybe he's a scout for them? Dunno.
And just to confuse things more, ANOTHER "Mike Sullivan", a former player, is the assistant O'line coach with the Titans...

Wasn't Sully a QB coach for the g-men before he came to Tampa?
Yep. This article (dated 2/28/2014) must be regurgitated from back then; Sullivan isn't listed as working for the G-men these days...

Sullivan was the Giants' QB coach before the Bucs hired him as OC in 2012. His claim to fame was that he turned Eli from a dud to a stud but it looks like Eli has regressed back into a dud. Kind of like Freeman did from 2012 to 2013. Both Carr brothers are working out with Sullivan right now.
So they must have hired Sullivan independent of a team. Article as I interpreted it said he was now working for the G-men...
