Hester on NFL Network: "Tampa, I look at Lovie as my number one coach right now because he's the one that took a chance on me coming out of the draft. He has all of my respect so if he's the guy that is going to shoot at me and want me to come play with him again, my arms are open."

He also said that it is "possible" that he is re-united with Lovie in Tampa.

He's still a dynamic kick returner, admittedly no longer in his prime however. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes to Tampa.

Kick returning in today's NFL is a joke. They get to return maybe 1 in 8. He could make a difference as a punt returner though. I still wish we had demps return though. Faster than Hester.

Go Bucs

As a cheap punt returner/kick returner/#5 WR we could do worse.

Paging Paige(sp). That guy sucked so bad. I couldn't even comment on how bad he sucked.

Pass......would MUCH RATHER have McCluster

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

I wanted the Bucs to draft DexMcluster.

He is my plan A for that job. But if Hester would come cheap, I wouldn't mind.

McCluster is a nice gadget player though. Not as straight line fast as I thought, but in an elevator he is lightning.

He's not anywhere near as amazing as he once was, but he is still a very good option at kick returner. He is completely useless outside of returning kicks though, and he is 31. I'm not interested unless he is dirt cheap. Like vet minimum.

Am I the only one that pronounces our GM's name as "licked" in my head as I read it? I know it's pronounced "light"......but I can't help it.

I would keep him in mind as a fall back plan, but go after McCluster.   Dexter is way younger, and can play a little WR if need be.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

and yet he was still top 10 in punts and ko's. Only 3 guys did both better.

I have seen McCluster mentioned, how would we feel about Ginn?

Sign me up for Dexter! You would think that we'd have our choice of the two, but you never know I guess.
