We would only owe a 4th rounder instead of a 3rd rounder to the Jets.

The benefits of dealing Revis would be felt immediately in a draft stacked with talent.....and if we can get a 2nd and 4th for dealing him, then we would have (2) seconds, (1) third and (1) fourth round pick. ....instead of (1) second, (0) third and (1) fourth.

Do the deal!!!!!!

I'd be open for business with Revis. But not a 2nd and a 4th.

Uhhh no... That would mean we gave a 1st and 4th for him. We took the chance on his Knee being better. Now he is 100% and you want to take less?

We got ripped off dude.

We can recoup all that we will ever recoup if we can deal him before March 13th.

That 1st round pick is gonzo....you will never get it back.

We can get more than a #1 if we convert his base salary into a bonus and eat the cap hit. I believe if we did for both his 2014 and 2015 base salaries we could recoup historic value, similar to what we gave up for Gruden.

Revis is in the top three best at his position.....coming off an ACL!

Would you have gotten that with the 13th pick last year?  With a third rounder this year?

Trading a healthy Revis is the most stupid idea ever. Giving up a first for a one year rental is just dumb. I will lose all respect for Lovie and Licht if we trade him, especially if given away for peanuts. If we do, then what? Sign 2 **CENSORED**ty FA CB's to a total of 16M that aren't even on Revis Island level?

If Schiano was the coach you would need to have Revis just to have an average defense.

Lovie Smith, on the other hand has never needed elite corners to have a great defense.

It's simple. The scheme doesn't suck anymore. We don't need Revis anymore.

That's so awesome that a 4-12 team doesn't need HoFers anymore. I love playing Madden, too!

Yet you want to turn around and get ripped off again by trading him away for peanuts?

4-12 teams need draft picks. Lots of them.

Yes. We are in rebuilding mode and we are going to pay an almost 30 year old corner $16 million, which is $6 million more than ANY other CB in the entire NFL makes....on a team with no pass rushing ends and the last ranked offense.

We need draft picks a lot more than we need an old, about to be slow washed up corner......unless you noobs think we are "one player away".  Keeping Revis makes no sense.

I'm sorry Mr. Madden All-Star GM. Since we're "noobs" because we'd rather keep Revis please explain how you'd replace him.

You could sign the best free agent corner and still have $8 million to spend on other needs, like a speed rusher.

You can just lump me in with Tony Dungy and Warren Sapp who believe that the Revis deal was bad and we should have built from the front to the back instead of the other way around.

But you are missing the point. We don't need to replace him, because we don't need him to begin with.
