Soccer is gay.

So that makes the World Cup gay too.

surprising that the top players in the world arent better penalty kickers.   But I guess its similar to nba players and free throws.

What a huge upset that would of been. There may have been riots in the streets.

The USA coach is claiming the World Cup is fixed.

ESPN had an article where it stated that Bradley has covered more ground than any other player, over 3 more miles than beekerman.  He's not been amazing but he is being asked to do more than anyone else and klinsman seems happy with his defensive play.

+1

He has had tough moments no doubt but it's tough to replace all that he does

Soccer will certainly never get to that level in the USA. But the national team will eventually get to the top level.  Soccer will be like gymnastics or track in the Olympics imo.

Agreed.

Agreed too. American sports are made for television (watch Buc players standing on the field waiting for commercials to end). Soccer is not made for tv.

Grantland has an article ranking Brazil 2 and Netherlands 3. Amazing both those teams could have been eliminated already.

You have no idea. I had a longer response written (with a bunch of cool facts and such) but my internet was being screwy and it didnt seem to post and I lost it so Ill keep this short. Yes I am, no not even I did although I always thought wed win and Miros now the all times leading scorer in WC history. They say you have to learn how to lose before you can win and this team has for the past 10 while their young guys have gotten experience. 02 was a heartbreaker (Miros still here as are a few others, not all necessarily current players). 06 we were too young but rode our home turf and lost excrutiatingly. 10 we couldve beat Spain but they were just a bit better that day and had we beat them we probly wouldve beaten the Netherlands. I wont even go into Euros. The real question now becomes where and/or how do I add this year to my tattoo? Im thinking maybe down the blade....Anywho. Looking forward to a good game tomorrow, and most definitely on Sunday.

I bet you're as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

I like your team's chances today, I'll be pulling for them.
