I was highly surprised at the Michael Clayton pick I was 99% sure we were gonna grab Stephen Jackson. Cadillac was a con sensus pick and last year I was hoping for Winston Justice or Manny Lawson. I think if we the Bucs don't get CJ or Joe Thomas this draft will be a failure.

I think if those guys are both gone, they have to go with Quinn or trade down and take Carriker.

Agreed, don't reach for a Defensive bust at #4

we should just forfeit all of our picks if cj and jt go 1-2.  Take our ball and go home, all the good players will be gone...  No sense in even sticking around for that  [banghead]

This draft has many good players and is actually deeper in the first few picks than the last few years in which there was a big drop off after the first 5 picks...

If CJ and JT are gone, maybe we can trade our pick to the Jets for Mangold?

Going by who was on the board, I wanted:
2004  S Jackson
2005  D Johnson
2006  Trade down...  if not McCargo or Kiwi

That would not be a suprise.  That would be friggin' homerish and stupid.

2 years ago everyone was on the Mike Williams bandwagon.

Incorrect. Cadillac Williams was the consensus pick, and we selected him, exactly as expected.

Agreed, I wasn't apart of this board then, but every draft specialist (Mel Kiper, etc.) had us taking Caddy.  I didn't even think there was much debate on that.

Not at #4, but he's a great safety!

He definitely has that quality about him, but at #4 it would be damned stupid of the BUcs.  I would be PISSED if the BUcs got Nelson at #4.  I would almost fall over and die.
