The Dolphins would probally take him to be a back-up to Ronnie Brown since they lost Sammy Morris to the Patriots.

People can crack on him all they want to but at one time not that long ago this guy was a freakin STUD at runningback, and I would be happy as hell if we were able to somehow get him to play here.

He isn't a bad backup.

He also isn't a stud anymore.

He didn't have too much success in the Canadian Football League.

Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams is optimistic and excited about the upcoming 2007 season. ''Ricky is in the best shape of his life,'' agent Leigh Steinberg said Monday, March 26. ``He's passed all of his drug tests, and he's at a place where he's ready to come back to the Dolphins.'' Williams can apply for a return to the NFL in April, and is reportedly healthy, drug free, and working on a book.

In 2002 he was probably the best offensive player in the league. 2216 yards offensive yards, 17 TDs.

But no, we're set at the RB position. Cadillac, Pittman, Graham (special teams) at RB. Alstott and Askew at FB.

Ricky Williams.

Hippie.  Massage therapist.  Author.  Football player.  Philosopher.

The man is a jack of all trades.

And his beard kicks butt!

The MLB doesn't test for marijuana, nor does the NBA, or the NHL, and it's not as if the NFL is holier than thou considering the HGH problem the league has, I'm not sure why illegal drugs like mary jane in which positive tests are easy to void are still having time and energy put into them.

Maybe we could trade our entire draft for him.

Did the league ever do a drug test on Mike Ditka?
