Todd Sauerbrun's time as a free agent may be nearing an end. The former Pro Bowl punter, cut by the Broncos on Oct. 10, has workouts planned this week with Tampa Bay and Detroit, said his agent, David Canter.

Please.  Bidwell is better than Sourballs....Why do we need 2 punters on the roster?  Is Bidwell hurt?  If not, this would be a stupid waste of roster space.

Bidwell is a UFA after this season. Sauerbraun was a Pro Bowl type player with the Panthers.

Two punters? Have you ever even seen a pro football game? If they sign Sauerbrun they're going to cut Bidwell.

They DON'T. Josh Bidwell has the third WORST net punting average in the entire league, the Bucs are looking to REPLACE him, not to bring in a second punter.

doubt a move will be made but a message is being sent. really adds teeth to gruden's comments sunday that we're still going to act like a team in the championship race.

glad to see the bucs are being proactive about their problems on special teams, rather than crossing their fingers and hoping a guy will come around, like they did with gramatica.

2-4 doesn't mean you can dog it for the rest of the season; stay focused because we're not ready to throw in the towel, and if you're not helping the team win a championship then somebody else will.

bidwell has had some beautiful opportunities to pin teams deep and help our D, and hasn't delivered like he did last year....seems like he's already put more in the end zone this year than he did all of last year.
