WFLA meteorologist found dead

At 3:30 p.m., an anonymous caller reported the death to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, sheriff’s spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.
Carter later told WFLA News Director Don North that deputies are investigating Winter’s death as an apparent suicide, North told the Tribune.
Winter worked on WFLA's morning newscasts.
Prior to WFLA, Winter, 39, worked at KGBT-TV in Brownsville, Texas.
Winter grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole High School. His interests included weight lifting and various outdoor activities.
