I would ask him nicely to sit so the lady in back of him can see.

Ok, if it was al game, I'd probably be annoyed. Just never had to deal with that.

However, I have had people tell me to sit during a huge Bucs' playoff game.
Sorry, but it's the playoffs and I'm not sitting.

That didn't work.   He stood the entire game until the 4th quarter when he passed out drunk.   At first, people were asking him to please sit down.   He just laughed, drank beer and yelled insults about Bucs.    As the game went on, the fans around him started to threaten him with physical violence if he didn't sit down.   But he never did.   I thought for sure someone was going to hit him.   But surprisingly, nobody did.   

He was annoying to say the least.   he was about 5 seats down from us, so it didnt bother us.  But I felt bad for the little old lady seated behind him as well as the 10 year old girl seated in front of him who he kept spilling beer on.

I agree that standing during critical plays is something people shouldnt complain about.  But all game is too much.

I agree on that one. Guy seemed to be an idiot. Do ushers still tell people to sit at Ray Jay?
They did that in the very beginning.

Yes they do, and  if told (they are usually drunk) and don't they are escorted out. At least in section 148. There are always a lot of visitors in our section. The Buc fans don't normally do it.


Biggest peeve-people who don't turn on their headlights in the rain.  Did they ever think, maybe they can see, but we can't see them? Have had several near misses on I-4. They know its the law, but they are too stupid to turn the knob or don't care about other drivers. If they got hit from behid once, they'd stop.

their shoes. Usually, they are OCD.

Gee.  i guess some of you never had to float a check because there was no money in your account and couldn't use a debit card.
Some people speak loudly on cell phones cause they are deaf and can't hear and assume the other party can't hear either.
I had a hyphenated last name with both husbands.  It was a compromise because of my business name  and their egos.  Not mine!  And just as blacks don't take slave names (white anglo saxon names) today and are creative with names, women don't want to change their name so much any more anyhow. Read the New York Times if you want to see many fine examples.
Anyone who flies and doesn't take their own food and drink these days deserves what they get.  Like you should rely on the airlines to feed you properly?  Puleeeez.  Java,  I was in India and couldn't eat their food.  Came to love saltines and hot cokes...lol.  Lost 25 pounds in 3 months and turned yellow in the process in Old Dehli.

My list:
People who never say please or thank you.
salesmen who won't talk to the woman buying the car but rather speak to any male of any age or state of demintia instead.
Guys who wear their pants around their knees exposing their ubiqitious plaid underwear and hold their crotch with one hand and their pants up with the other.
And along with Boid, people in general...but I''m getting over that....lol.

I'll never get on another fan's case for standing. They can stand all game if they want.
Glad they're not sitting on their hands.

I hate it when people feel the need to change lanes without a signal, especially when it's a narrow little space they're getting into

The airline carousel is a good one. Always ticks me off when people corral up against the courousel blocking the view.

The idiots that have never read the "stand behind the yellow line" sign, and never thought to themselves: hmmmm, I wonder why they have a yellow line on the floor.

I will keep mine to five:

1 – People that use cell phones while driving.   If you are that important the world needs constant contact with you, buy a Bluetooth or hands-free…. it is the 21st century already.

2 – People that are rude to service industry workers.  Everyone’s job is important and if you don’t use common courtesy you shouldn’t be looking down on anyone.

3 – People that are always trying to jump lines.  Just wait your turn like everyone else.

4 – Rude people in general.  Did their parents never teach these people ‘please and thank you’ 

5 - This one is for Java: People that insist on traveling with several items of carry on luggage.  Just check the damn bags in and spare us all the drama of finding an overhead locker.

I can tell you I am not OCD, but I don't like people tracking mud, snow slush with salt in it, dog crap, and soiling my house up with their shoes.  It is a pet peeve, not an obsessive disorder.  Who knows where peoples shoes have been?  And then for them to track it through my house?  Not cool.  I live there.

Call it common courtesy, in my book.

Classic example. I don't pay $50-80 for a ticket to look at some dude's backside.

What if they are a fan of the other team and they are the only person standing the entire game right in front of you? I felt bad for the nice woman seated behind this guy.
