At least this game can help remind some folks where the weaknesses were and can help some to appreciate the FA signings and the draft picks coming in about three weeks.

Seriously, by some of the comments we see here from time to time, you start to wonder if memories are short.

Still, there are many bright spots.

I didn't have to watch any of that again to know our offense was absolutely pathetic. We needed to replace 7 out of 11 positions on offense.

I have to mention this regarding what I've heard about criticism of Phillips and how he speared Rice.

This is what I see:

At 2:50 in the 1st quarter, Mark Cambell pushes Phillips out of the play as he recovers from a slip as a result of changing direction. As Rice takes an angle in pursuit of McAllister, he runs into them.

Why would I want to watch a loss over again?  I agree with breaking out the Super Bowl DVD though.  Man, even though I've seen that game over 20 times, it never gets old.

I thought this was going to be the game when they played in Tampa. Watched that one from the fifth row and it was extremely ugly. Only good thing about that game is I had a close-up view of the cheerleaders in person. Oh, and the Dolphins absolutely hammered the Bears that day!

I watched it.  Cadillac Williams, Bruce Gradkowski, and Joey Galloway had great games for the offense.  The defense had a hard time containing Reggie Bush though.  We should have won that game.

And the hate for these three players on offense continues into the off season.  It boggles my mind. ???
