I find it interesting on how it is cliche to say that games are won and lost in the trenches, and lineman are overlooked, but when the rank lines they don't take into account how much the other skill positions affect how the line looks as well. LT was a 1500 yard runner with 10+ touchdowns in San Diego when that line and every other player on that team was awful. Peyton Manning has always been good at avoiding sacks. Should the Indy O-Line get credit for that.

Everyone wants to look at players and positions independently and rank them that way, but all of the positions are interdependent. A good WR is going to make an O-Line look better because they can get open faster. A bad cornerback is going to make a D-Line look worse because he will miss tackles and let the QB get rid of the ball.

There is no reason not to believe that the improvements we have made to not only the O-Line but to the team as a whole can make our blockers look much better this year.
