So you completely missed the gay camp overtures to that movie then.  Simple things like redesigning the Spartans battle uniform to show as many bare chests as possible.

My wife enjoyed the movie for the scantily clad males alone, so am sure it is very popular in gay circles.

When the director admits he put in the gay overtones to be 'subversive" maybe you aren't paying enough attention.

Good movie.  And the dudes may have been ripped, but if that is the "gayness" of it all, is it because of the sheer volume of ripped dudes?  Or does just having a ripped dude as a character make it "gay"?  I love Conan the Barbarian, and the first Rambo is pretty cool.  Walking Tall was cheesy, but I liked it.  Any Given Sunday is loaded with Jacked to the Max dudes.

Trust me, I ain't gay.

But 300 was a great movie.
