And the Giants are 4-2 going into this game. It's been a difficult shedule to say the least and the Bucs could've beat NO and Caro. I know, you'll say they could've lost the past 2 pretty easily but the Bucs have no cupcakes this year. If the Bucs didn't have horrific QB play from jump we could be looking at a different season. Honestly, makes me want to Simms to take his $1M and head on out of town as fast as he can. The defense hasn't palyed well but Simms was the main reason for the 0-3 start.

Well you could do that or throw a whole bunch of money to Freeney when he becomes a free agent who has been really productive this year....

Oh and this was Freeney's salary the last 4 years. I'm not sure what he's making this seaon. Freeney was a bargain for the Colts last couple seasons.

Simms has more TD's than your slacker, takes plays off, quits on plays if there's no sack, over paid, overrated, underachieving, pal Rice has sacks. I'm telling you Mr BucFan....if you ask nicely, Rice will let you read him bedtime stories before you and Keepon tuck him in bed.

I know.  The NFL Schedule Gods weren't too nice to our Buccaneers.  This is what pisses me off when fans, particularly of the Eagles, go and tell me that our team is still crap because we are 2-4.

Well excuse me, but if your starting quarterback is playing like Hellen Keller the first 2 weeks, You can't expect to win those games, especially against teams with combined records of 8-4.

The last two losses hurt.  But they were still against good teams in which they combined for 9-4 records.  We lost on a last second field goal to the Panthers and a garbage punt return.(damn Biassaca)

We beat some quality teams too in the Bengals and Eagles, who were both coming off losses and needed wins.  Sadly it doesn't get much easier for us, but I definetly see us winning some games and making it interesting.  I think we can definetly beat the Saints, Falcons, and Redskins at home; along with road games to the Cowboys and Browns.  So that get's us to 7 wins.  Don't be suprised if a 9-7 team gets in the playoffs this year as a wild card.  Keep faith.


Oh and as for the Eagles, I could bet the Bucs would be at least 4-3 as well playing the schedule they did.

And since we beat the Eagles, I'd say we'd be anywhere from 5-2 to maybe 7-0 with that cup cake schedule.  7-0 is streching it but i'd take 5-2.
