I can imagine who probably told JF / whoever what 'Canuck' meant, considering only one person found being called a Canadian offensive.

To my understanding of those two words, then yes, they are basically the same thing.

I don't even care now, I'd just like to know what we can and cannot say, I've avoided using slang terms for curse words, but if they're going to extend into regular words, not to mention athletic organization nicknames then it's going to get sticky and complicated.

For instance, at the RB boards the mods didn't like us saying homosexual slang terms for 'lame' hits, so we began calling them 'Blue Jay' hits and 'Nomo' hits.

If we can't do that here then at least tell us that.
